here's a drawing that's part of a series that will be in the VCU commons in the spring.

road trips

philly was mega-rad (for lack of better or more appropriate adjectives). it was fun meeting new people that i actually felt comfortable with and will talk to in situations outside of some random bar.
now it's back to the grind before my one billionth semester of school starts.
i am developing a new index card project. more about that to come.

installation

today at
quirk, we installed "who's afraid of virginia wood?", an all-Virginia wood-fired ceramics show. WHAT A BITCH THAT WAS TO INSTALL. i thought i would hate it based on that i'm not a huge ceramics fan, and the pictures didn't do it justice. Still, when all is said and done, the installation looks GREAT. We have wood-smoked paper panels by Ray Kass that are OUT OF THIS WORLD. hopefully we get a good reception on this
first friday.

saatchi updated

i uploaded a few more of my pieces on my saatchi page- you should go look at them. also today i realized that i left one of my pieces in the art building over christmas break- if they actually did what they threatened to do and threw it away i will probably smash something because it was pretty good.
i got an mass email from the bizarre market today calling all local artists to submit work for sale at nonesuch- i really want to start selling some work because that would be AWESOME. (like me).
