adventure time

no explanation needed further than this is the most amazing thing i have ever seen.

192 ghosts

Today I went on a copy/paste spree in my large format digital printing class, and here's what happened. Ghosts are cool and anyone who says otherwise is clearly an enemy of the undead and must be exterminated.

edit: now that i'm looking at it i think i want to make them dance... if you click on it, it moves.

Jacob Magraw

This is definitely a print I wish I had seen before it had sold out! "Drawing" on 20x200 is radder than rad. Not to mention he's married to Rachell Sumpter, who has shown with Megan Whitmarsh... the list of coolness insanity goes on and on.
I also thought his blurb about this print was particularly inspiring. Do read on.

by Jacob Magraw

"I thought this painting would have figures in it. It shows empty fields waiting by a band of travelers. They have moved to a warm place and taken off their clothes. I am concerned this cliff face will never be filled. Like most of my work this piece is dealing with landscapes. Landscapes of color and the body and outer/inner worlds. It is funny to be a landscape painter, landscapes are soothing and uplifting. I take a lot of reference photos, stumps and puddles mostly, but I rarely use them. This is also soothing. A year ago I was more concerned with having a ambiguous sense of scale in my work. I think since my move to the country I've worried less about exposing these fantasy landscapes and painted more scenes like this one."

miracle molar

lovin' this print by blueflip artist Richard Wilkinson. His gallery is quirky and whimsical, full of joy and smiling faces. What could be better than that?

Etsy, of course, hosts a plethora of awesome DIY shops. There's one that I've recently become obsessed with though, and that is 1Aeon. I've already gotten 2 shirts from them (with the fastest shipping of any store I've ever dealt with!) and all of my friends are drooling with jealousy. I've decided to stock my wardrobe with more of their delicious designs, and need to share this with the world!
These two are already taken (by me!) but I assure you, there is absolutely no shortage of amazing items available RIGHT NOW.

P.S. The "featured seller" interview in Etsy is pretty interesting. (I also read the Jenna Jameson biography, and was surprised at how fascinating it was!)

fecal face

Fecal Face just printed an article about old skate mags featured in a show at Needles + Pens. No big deal, just an awesome collection of memorabilia and stuff spanning a few decades. Be sure to read the article, but the pixxx are off the wall.
