happy birthday lauren

today is my sister's 23rd birthday, and i just got a job at the 15th place i applied to. it's about damn time! this calls for a cute cat picture.
also i haven't been to a scanner in a while, that's why the "drawing" of the day has temporarily been replaced with an "image" of the day. you understand.

so i've been traveling...

this week was NYC. too long to go into. but amazing.
i'd say it was "a rich experience and eye-opening view into the life of professional artists"!
now i'm in philly for a short bit but i get back to richmond tonight.
so the daily drawings with resume tomorrow!

the last few days...

have been difficult. thanks for all the support and the amazing outpouring of love for charles, who was and will remain one of the most optimistic, inspirational, upbeat, happy, infectiously wonderful people in the world. he gave 25 years of unconditional love and complete selflessness to every single person that he met. he will be missed by so many people. babe, we love ya. i know there's a pole for you to dance your heart out on in heaven.

The Big Art Show was AMAZING. So many talented artists and musicians coming together for a great night. It really was an awesome opportunity. I sold a bunch of stuff and got to trade for some incredible art too!
